Located close to the Welsh Borders, there can be few courses that offer a more relaxed feel to a day’s racing than Ludlow. The course plays host to National Hunt fixtures across the year but mainly in the season months which are attended by a strong, local presence. The quality of racing ranges from fair to useful and horses that race close to the pace are often favored.

Creativity and Relaxation Week
September 18 @ 4:00 pm – September 22 @ 10:30 am
Walcot Hall are very excited to share a creativity and relaxation event hosted by Alkimi and Aura in September this year…
Alkimi and Aura is a new Sheffield based wellbeing company that specialises in natural beauty products and they have chosen Walcot Hall for their first relaxation and creativity retreat.
The Creativity and Relaxation Week is for women of all ages, which will take place in the beautiful surroundings of Walcot Hall, Shropshire from the 18th to 22nd September.
The five day retreat will include nourishing food, simple and relaxing yoga, and fun, creative artist-led activities. Each woman will also receive a goodie box of Alkimi & Aura natural cosmetics and candles.
There will be no need for you to have done any yoga before or be an artist; the week is aimed at any woman, no matter what your ability or talent is. It’s an ideal retreat if you are simply looking for space to relax, be in a creative and supportive environment and enjoy stunning surroundings.
The relaxation sessions will be led by Mandy Bryce, a yoga teacher based in Shropshire, who previously taught at the Sheffield Yoga Centre and the art sessions will be led by Jan Flamank, a Sheffield based artist. Both have years of experience in their areas of expertise. Mandy and Jan are friendly and supportive leaders and also great fun.
